It is the print-only companion to the MF1333C multifunction, sharing the same engine, 5-inch color touchscreen, and security platform in a unit that weighs about 35 pounds. First print is about 7 seconds, it wakes from sleep in under 2 seconds, and it is rated for 750 to 4,000 pages a month.
The 1333C series prints at 1200 × 1200 dpi with UFR II, PCL 6, PCL 5, and Adobe PostScript 3 standard, two-sided printing out of the box at up to 31 pages a minute, and direct print from USB memory. Print from Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices with AirPrint, Mopria, or the Canon PRINT app; Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Gigabit Ethernet are all standard. Paper capacity starts at 300 sheets and grows to 850 with the optional 550-sheet Paper Feeder PF-K1, and both trays handle stock to 74 lb cover.
