About the imageFORCE 1643P

The imageFORCE 1643P is the single-function printer in Canon's 1643 series — a 45-page-per-minute black-and-white A4 desktop printer for offices and fleets that need fast, secure output from a device small enough for a credenza. It delivers a first print in about 6.2 seconds, wakes from sleep in 5 seconds, and shares the paper handling, security platform, and fleet tools of the 1643 multifunction models. Copy, scan, and fax are not available on this model; see the 1643 or 1643F.

The 1643 series prints at up to 1200 dpi equivalent with a toner formulation built for crisp text and detailed graphics. Print from Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS devices with AirPrint, Mopria, Universal Print, or the Canon PRINT app, or direct from USB memory. Paper capacity starts at 650 sheets and grows to 2,300 with up to three optional 550-sheet feeders on a rolling cassette stand.

A 5-line LCD panel handles settings, and Canon's Unified Firmware Platform keeps the device gaining features through regular updates. Verify System at Startup, Trellix™ Embedded Control, and SIEM integration are standard, and imageWARE Enterprise Management Console manages it alongside the rest of a Canon fleet.
