imagePROGRAF GP-2000A 24-inch 11-color printer with fluorescent pink for proofing and signage that hits PANTONE colors.
Best for: Design departments, proofing, and advertising teams that need accurate brand color in a 24-inch footprint
Overview
The imagePROGRAF GP-2000 is the 24-inch model of Canon's 11-color GP Series. It adds Red, Orange, Green, Violet, Gray, and Fluorescent Pink to the standard pigment set for the widest color gamut of any imagePROGRAF printer, ships with a 330 ml matte black and 160 ml tanks for the other ten colors, and fits a proofing or design workspace where a 44-inch device would be too much printer.
The GP Series ink is formulated for bright, bold images. Canon's Radiant Infusion technology layers Fluorescent Pink with the other inks on the paper, producing both vivid neon and soft pastel color. The GP-4000 and GP-2000 are the world's first PANTONE Calibrated printers for the PANTONE PASTELS & NEONS GUIDE coated, reaching 97 percent of that guide and 99 percent of the PANTONE FORMULA GUIDE solid coated. Built-in color calibration uses a multisensor to read density and keep the last print matching the first.
Intelligent media handling feeds a roll automatically and detects width, length, and type with no manual entry. A 4.3-inch color touchscreen, a 500 GB hard drive, and 3 GB of memory handle large files and reprints, and the stand is standard. PosterArtist Lite, Professional Print & Layout for photo workflows, Accounting Manager, and Device Management Console — which can color-calibrate a fleet of up to 50 printers remotely — are included.
Key features
Red, Orange, Green, Violet, Gray, and Fluorescent Pink join photo black, matte black, cyan, magenta, and yellow for the largest color gamut of any imagePROGRAF. Radiant Infusion layers the pink with other inks for neon and pastel tones.
Hits 99 percent of PANTONE FORMULA GUIDE solid coated and 97 percent of the PANTONE PASTELS & NEONS GUIDE coated, the first printers calibrated for the latter.
A multisensor reads color density and calibrates the printer so the last print looks the same as the first. Device Management Console can calibrate up to 50 imagePROGRAF printers remotely.
Set the roll holder and the media feeds itself. The printer detects width, length, and type automatically with no manual entry.
Handles 6- to 24-inch rolls and cut sheets up to 84 inches long. An optional RU-23 Multifunction Roll System adds a second roll or take-up reel.
Professional Print & Layout gives photographers layout, preview, and color management from Photoshop and Lightroom. PosterArtist Lite builds signage from templates in four steps, and Accounting Manager tracks ink and media costs.
Included with every system
The imagePROGRAF GP-2000 is the same everywhere. What's different is the 44 years of local service behind it.
We deliver, unbox, place, and connect the device to your network and every workstation that needs it. You print the first page before we leave.
A Canon-certified technician walks your staff through the panel, scanning workflows, and the everyday things that generate service calls when nobody explains them.
Supplies ship before you run out, based on your device's own meter readings. Genuine Canon consumables only, so your warranty and image quality stay intact.
Local technicians dispatched from our office in Old Hickory, not a national ticket queue. Average response is under four hours.
Lease, rent, or buy. Separate color and mono cost-per-page, no hidden escalators, and a person who answers questions about the contract by name.
The same person from proposal through the life of the system. They know your account, your volumes, and when it's time to talk about what's next.
Call, email, or send a message — whichever is easiest for you. We'll take it from there.
