The imagePROGRAF TX-3200 is the 36-inch model in Canon's TX production series, sized for offices that live on ARCH D and ANSI D output. It prints up to 3.3 D-size pages a minute — 199 an hour — from a single front-loading roll, ships with 160 ml color tanks and a 330 ml matte black, and can be configured as the TX-3200 MFP Z36 with a 36-inch scanner mounted on top for scan, copy, and share.
The LUCIA TD 5-color pigment ink system, with its newly developed magenta, produces sharp text and fine lines for CAD and AEC documentation and strong reds for posters and signage. Pigment ink resists fading and gives water resistance for outdoor use. Built-in color calibration keeps output consistent over time and across multiple TX-3200 and TX-4200 printers, and intelligent media handling finds the leading edge, feeds the roll, and detects media type, length, and width automatically — loading is about 34 percent faster than the previous generation.
The compact body uses semi-translucent ink and media covers, an intuitive touchscreen that shows ink, sub-tank, and media levels, and user-installable printheads, maintenance cartridges, and hot-swap ink tanks. The optional Multifunction Roll System works as a second roll or a take-up reel for continuous production. Security includes PIN printing, a self-encrypting 500 GB hard drive, and the ability to disable USB and Ethernet ports. The TX Series is EPEAT Gold registered and ENERGY STAR certified.
