imagePROGRAF TZ-32000The fastest imagePROGRAF ever — up to 4 D-size prints a minute with two rolls standard.
Best for: High-volume architecture, engineering, construction, and print-shop environments that run CAD sets and posters all day
Overview
The imagePROGRAF TZ-32000 is the flagship of Canon's aqueous large-format line: a 36-inch hybrid production printer that turns out up to 4 D-size prints a minute — 243 an hour — from two front-loading rolls with a top stacker that holds up to 100 ARCH E sheets. It is built for departments and print shops that need monochrome line drawings and full-color posters from the same device without waiting on it, and it can be configured as the TZ-32000 MFP Z36 with a 36-inch scanner mounted on top.
The LUCIA TD 5-color pigment ink system, with its newly developed magenta, produces sharp text and fine lines for CAD and AEC documentation and strong reds for posters and signage. Pigment ink resists fading and gives water resistance for outdoor use. Built-in color calibration keeps output consistent over time and across multiple TZ-32000 units, and intelligent media handling finds the leading edge, feeds the roll, and detects media type, length, and width automatically — media loading is about 34 percent faster than the previous generation.
A 4.3-inch touchscreen shows ink, sub-tank, and media levels on the home screen. Twin carriage motors and parallel processing keep throughput up, and the L-COA PRO controller with a 500 GB encrypted hard drive handles large files. Security includes PIN printing, a self-encrypting drive with AES 256, IPSec, 802.1X, and TLS, plus the ability to disable USB and Ethernet ports. The TZ-32000 is EPEAT Gold registered and ENERGY STAR certified, and ships in cardboard packaging rather than EPS foam.
Key features
An ANSI D print in as fast as 14 seconds and up to 243 D-size prints an hour in Fast Q5 mode. Twin carriage motors and parallel processing keep long queues moving.
Matte black, black, cyan, magenta, and yellow pigment inks with a newly developed magenta for strong red reproduction. Improved image processing sharpens CAD lines, blueprints, and poster text.
Two front-loading rolls with automatic media switching and an integrated top output stacker that holds up to 100 ARCH E prints, collected from the front of the printer.
Slide a roll into the open drawer and the printer finds the leading edge, feeds it, and detects media type, length, and width on the 4.3-inch touchscreen. Loading is about 34 percent faster than the previous model.
The TZ-32000 MFP Z36 mounts a 36-inch CIS scanner on the printer with a 15.6-inch SmartWorks controller: up to 13 inches per second monochrome, 6 inches per second color copy, and 1200 dpi optical.
PIN printing, a self-encrypting 500 GB hard drive with AES 256, IPSec, 802.1X, and TLS, and the ability to disable the USB port, Ethernet port, and USB thumb-drive printing.
Registered EPEAT Gold and ENERGY STAR certified, with cardboard packaging in place of EPS foam and reduced power consumption.
Included with every system
The imagePROGRAF TZ-32000 is the same everywhere. What's different is the 44 years of local service behind it.
We deliver, unbox, place, and connect the device to your network and every workstation that needs it. You print the first page before we leave.
A Canon-certified technician walks your staff through the panel, scanning workflows, and the everyday things that generate service calls when nobody explains them.
Supplies ship before you run out, based on your device's own meter readings. Genuine Canon consumables only, so your warranty and image quality stay intact.
Local technicians dispatched from our office in Old Hickory, not a national ticket queue. Average response is under four hours.
Lease, rent, or buy. Separate color and mono cost-per-page, no hidden escalators, and a person who answers questions about the contract by name.
The same person from proposal through the life of the system. They know your account, your volumes, and when it's time to talk about what's next.
Call, email, or send a message — whichever is easiest for you. We'll take it from there.
