Overview
The imageFORCE 1643F is the full-featured multifunction model in Canon's 1643 series — a 45-page-per-minute black-and-white A4 desktop device with print, copy, scan, send, and Super G3 fax built in, for small businesses and workgroups that need everything in one compact unit. It delivers a first print in about 6.2 seconds and scans both sides of a page in a single pass at up to 100 images per minute. The 1643 is the same machine without fax; the 1643P is print-only.
The 1643 series prints at up to 1200 dpi equivalent with a toner formulation built for crisp text and detailed graphics. The single-pass duplex feeder sends searchable PDFs, including PDF/A, to email, folders, USB, or the cloud, and the optional Authorized Send Compact adds controlled document capture. Print from Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS devices with AirPrint, Mopria, Universal Print, or the Canon PRINT app. Paper capacity starts at 650 sheets and grows to 2,300 with up to three optional 550-sheet feeders on a rolling cassette stand.
The 7-inch tilting color touchscreen uses the same icon-based layout as the rest of the imageFORCE line, and Canon's Unified Firmware Platform keeps the device gaining features through regular updates. Verify System at Startup, Trellix™ Embedded Control, and SIEM integration are standard.
