About the MAXIFY GX5520X

The MAXIFY GX5520X is Canon's MegaTank single-function inkjet printer — a compact color desktop printer built for remote workers and lower-volume offices where the cost of consumables is the first question. Four refillable pigment ink tanks yield up to 6,000 black or 14,000 color pages per set of bottles, it prints about 24 images per minute in black and 15.5 in color, and it holds 600 sheets across two front cassettes and a rear tray.

Pigment inks produce sharp, highlighter-resistant text on plain paper, and the rear tray handles envelopes, labels, greeting cards, and glossy photo stock. Legal-size paper loads in the lower cassette. Print from Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iOS, and Android with AirPrint, Mopria, or the Canon PRINT app, over Wi-Fi or built-in Ethernet. The printhead and maintenance cartridge are user-replaceable, and PosterArtist is included for signage.

For organizations with a uniFLOW Online subscription, the GX5520X supports the Cloud Link Print Connection, so home-office printing can be tracked, reported, and released under the same policies as the office fleet.
